Parker Antron Coleman has been incarcerated since 2010, serving an unimaginable 60-year federal sentence for a non-violent marijuana offense. Despite spending 15 years in the United States Penitentiary — much of it in the highest security environment because of his lengthy sentence — Parker has never lost sight of his belief that he will one day come home.

In his own words, he is “always going home” because his case is non-violent and rooted in an industry now worth billions. He speaks openly about the hypocrisy of keeping people in prison for conduct that is legal in much of the country and generating massive profits.

Parker’s hope for clemency is deeply personal: his father, a military veteran, is battling severe spinal stenosis, and Parker’s greatest wish is to see him before his condition worsens. He promises that if given the chance, he will succeed and make the most of his freedom — a freedom he knows is precious beyond measure.
